I've had some private lessons, but am basically a self taught musician, into early jazz and song based improvising. I loved cartoon music as a kid. My sax heros are Lester Young and Coleman Hawkins. I dig 40s & 50s swing, like Spike Jones and His City Slickers, Esquival, Bonzo Dog Band and Raymond Scott.

We love digging up old gems, and I write songs for the band. Right now we are about 50/50 (original/covers). It' still very exciting for me to compose something and then hear the band bring it to life!
I also play music in the Toronto subway system, and enjoy making cash bringing art to the public.
