F.A. / Free Agents / Fallen Angelz Movement + Culture + Growth Manifest the Mulinyan, born Leon T. Goodman II, was raised in Massapequa, NY Long Island. As early as he can remember he was surrounded by music. His father, an AM radio Disc Jockey, spinning all the old hits. While his mother, an Insurance Executive constantly had the great sounds of Motown filling the house. Wanting to channel his love for rhymes, at an early age he began with poetry. This would in time lend its hand to the development of fresh free styling skills. The hard sounds of Redman, Wu-tang, Craig Mack, Notorious B.I.G., Tupac, and Nas would play motivator both now and back then. As many young men did in the early 90’s, Manifest would find himself hanging with friends listening to music and trying to come up with his own lyrics. It was around this time that both he and another neighborhood friend started collaborating. Lamboghini Linez, born Telvis Williams, was raised in Crown Heights, Brooklyn NY and Massapequa, NY Long Island. His mother Pasty Williams was a single mom trying to raise her boys on a nurse’s paycheck. Linez would turn to his older brother, D.P. for some type of male influence in his life. Hanging with an older crowd would help open his ears to the music of KRS One, Slick Rick, Kool Moe Dee, and Big Daddy Kane to name a few. It was around the age of 12 that he would come across his first true passion, trying to create his own music. While he and Manifest joined forces around this time it wouldn’t be long till they would embark on the journey of Fallen Angelz. F.A, founded in the late 90’s. The group had 4 original members, but now only two remain. (Only the strong survive) Together they create magic in both the studio and on stage. Many describe their shows as entertaining, high energy, and lyrically superior. It’s been anything but easy to remain strong in an industry built on greatness and now surrendering to fluff in comparison. They are determined to stay true to the sound and flow of music, which inspired them all those years back. Nonetheless, they still recognize the significance in staying fresh and new. Performing around the Tri-state area, they’ve gained fans at virtually every show. From the Bowery Poetry Club, Pussy Cat Lounge, Public Assembly, Karma Lounge, Revival Lounge, and Pyramid to rattle off a few. They have laid down tracks on many albums including Artemis Records “Nasty Confessions” and Table Turns “The State of the World”, also many soon-to-released albums overseas. Still in it as a group, Linez and ‘Fest created solo projects respectively, “Grind House” and “Motion Picture Show”. Their dream is to grab hold of fans, new and old, and share in the inspiration for a dying breed of rappers out there. As of now they continue to work strong and never lose sight of the future but one day they’ll walk on to stage to a sold out crowds chanting “FREE AGENTS"
