From Rise to RuinThe Band When formed back in the summer of 2004 it was originally going to be a seven-piece band with a dj and everything. As we got to play shows we realized some elements of the band wasn’t needed i.e. the dj. We have grown so much as a band. We have gone through several members but for the good. The five of us now have this connection that we are not just a band but also all family. At all of our shows we try to bring all of our energy out to make it our best. I look at it like if we say that we have our favorite show well then the next one needs to be better not to disappoint the fans. The fans are everything to us. Before and after our shows you will find us out in the crowd hanging out with everyone. As far as getting onto a label, we know that we have grown and are ready for the next push that is constant touring and recording. We are ready and excited about this. MembersAndrew CarwileWhat’s up? My name is Andrew and I do the vocals in the band. I have been in this band from the beginning. Music has giving me a way to get my feeling off my chest and onto paper. It is such an awesome feeling whenever we are playing a show and everyone is singing the words. Being in the band has given me the opportunity to go many places and meet some awesome people. It’s a funny story on how I got into the band. When we started, we wanted to something heavy and I was the quiet guy and so I actually recorded my first thing of me singing/screaming on my xbox karaoke game. Music to me is about expressing yourself and connecting with people so that they can understand that, if it’s a bad scenario, someone else has been in that situation and they are now connected to that band. I love all of our fans I talk to all of them because without them we are nothing. Well that’s all I got to say, besides that I like bananas.Jason BowlinSince I was young I’ve had a certain passion for music, carefully listening to all of the lyrics, and different parts of the music. At age 10 I decided to take my money I had saved for a very long time, went pawnshop hopping and bought my first guitar. For a while I played, stopping at nothing, I got burned out on it until I saw opportunity in it. A group of friends playing music, what I always dreamed it would’ve been. Pretty soon after that what I hoped for became reality; a spot opened up and I was invited to play along. I have put my heart and soul into this music, taking advantage of every aspect and pushing myself to become a better musician. We’ve all been through a lot together, to me it’s no longer a band, it is my family. Everyone shares the same passion as I do which makes playing so worthwhile. All of the fans, friends, and people who have supported us along the way have created what has become the “love of my life”.Cody CondeEvery since my mom got me listening to Metallica I have had a strong passion for music. While in the 6th grade my good friend and fellow band mate (Jason Bowlin) introduced me to the guitar. Since then I’ve never stopped learning. During my guitar-playing career I started out playing in cover bands for the first few years. After that I got an offer I couldn’t refuse…to play in From Rise to Ruin. I had always been a fan of their music. When I joined the band I immediately started to put my song writing abilities to the test. Playing guitar is my life and I will never stop.Jason GrayIm Jason, I play Bass in the band. I’ve been playing Bass for three years now,And have learned most of the skills to become a very successful musician. At age ten I knew that music was a passion in my life, which I wanted to pursue a career in. But my place in the Band doesn’t just consist of playing Bass, I Am also a vocalist and assist with the writing of our songs. To me all our songs Mean more to the heart when we have all had a part in writing each song. We have had the opportunity to play with many great and talented bands such as Dead Man in Reno, A Plea for Purging , The Devil Wears Prada, and Imperial just to name a few. I look up to these bands because they have reached goals in their careers that I hope that I can one day achieve. RobbieJust joined the band. Bio coming soon
