Semore Buckz is the rare artist that stands out above the rest. From the streets of Cambridge, MD (a small town arguably known for everything besides music), Buckz is destined to be the next iconic figure for the new generation. With the support of his natives not only for his lyrics but for his street credibility as well, it’s time for him to be introduced to the world!Semore Buckz refers to his earliest memories of music through his diverse collection of CD’s, mixtapes and cassette tapes ranging from artists including The Notorious B.I.G., Big L, Jay-Z, AZ, DMX, The Lox and many more. It was while attending middle school that Buckz (then known as “Gage Da Grinder”) began battling. By the time he had graduated Middle School, “Gage” had built himself quite a buzz for rapping and battling artists twice his age. It was at age 16 when a young Semore Buckz would receive his first break at “Club Sonar” in Baltimore, MD where he would hone his skills in a new environment. After receiving the newfound love and respect from people he didn’t even know, he decided to begin the pursuit of his dream.As a 17-year old youth and junior in high school Buckz kept his name buzzing in the streets. Whether he was dropping freestyles for local DJ’s, battling MC’s in the streets or rapping for his peers in his leisure time, Semore Buckz was always perfecting his craft and driving his hometown insane with his unique persona and swift wordplay. He would soon begin to look pass his local celebrity and realize that if he was going to really achieve his dream it would take more than freestyles and battles. Realizing this, Buckz created his own, defiant sound and used it to make an original style. With a fresh, new flavor for the game, he began building a fan base through performances at local clubs and endless self-promotion via web.Now, as a young, aspiring artist with plans to take his career to the next level, Semore Buckz remains in “grind mode” and is always looking for the next move. With his unique sound, distinguished wordplay and “Now Or Never” attitude, Buckz is putting matters in his own hands and taking control of his own destiny.
