Gary Swindell Jr. AKA Shepherdboy was born in Savannah Ga. 1987 to a wonderful group of people Gary and Priscilla Swindell. His father who is in the Savannah Gospel hall of fame began instilling in him the value of not only worship but relationship. His mother (a well noted actor as well as teacher) began showing him how to teach and be a light in who ever he came in contact with. Now 20 years old Gary Swindell has accepted his calling and has began working for the kingdom, as a young minister in the Savannah Ga, area as a worship leader at the P.M.D.C. Ministries (where the founder is the Apostle Dr. Idell Cheever)and as a light anywhere where God shows him there is darkness. Not only a well developed singer but Gary has also been noted for his song writing abilities, being able to take the words right out of heaven and put them to annointed music given only by God. The name Shepherdboy came after reading about King David and his awesome relationship with God, and howGary embodies the same uniquness to conquer everything that he is faced with. Gary understands that many are called but few are chosen and knows that this is the hour for the people of God to stand and take their rightful place in the Kingdom.
