Eugene Stanley, (also known as Geno Da Great) was born in Chicago, IL on August 29, 1986. He was raised by his mother and father on the south side of the Windy City. Geno had a ruff childhood, dealing with being a skinny kid in the city where skinny kids are the weakest link. High School was the turning point in this artists' life. In High School Geno was on the honor role and in the marching band (Trumpet) for his freshman and sophmore year. Geno attended Morgan Park High School, then his junior year transfered to Thornwood High School, where he would be expelled for lack of performance. At the age of 16, Geno enrolled in Lincoln's Challenge Academy where he would earn his G.E.D., and a scholarship to attend college. At the age of 17; Geno began to rap while in college. He would only complete half a year of college before dropping out and adventuring into a harsh world. Geno started his rap career as a member of 1st String Ent (Ran by King The Hood Savior). After a year of no leverage, Geno ventured off into the world once again where he would meet his rap brother A.G. Geno and A.G. put together a backyard mixtape entitled "Strike Zone Muzik vol. 1"! After experiencing a close call with death Geno decided to play the background for a year. In the winter of 2006 Geno enlisted in the United States Navy as an Interior Communicatins Repair Electrician. In June of 2008 the rapper turned soldiar was Discharged from the Navy under Honorable Conditions. Geno Da Great decided that this was a wake up call, and vowed to take his future into his own hands. So, in November of 2008, with courage drawn from Barack Obama; Mr. Stanley started Beat Supreme Records Pacific Northwest. His company was ran as a subsidiary of a larger company called Beat Supreme Records. Immediately the artist/ C.E.O. released a mixtape entitled The Contribution Mixtape. This Project was in part a contribution to the 1 rapper/C.E.O. Jay-Z. Shortly after, the business deal went sour and Geno and his remaining partner were forced to break away from the name Beat Supreme, and created Diamond Sound Records! Geno went on further to name his personal company "Diamond Sound Records Pacific Northwest"! Geno took no time off..... Diving head first into his Debut Album; "Geno's World"! This name is a direct representation of the thought process gained from all of the experiences he had overcome. This is definitely Geno's World. Get Down with the program, or fade Black!
