For the last year and a half , Ghazal has been in the studio with Harte Music Productions with producers Nick Hope and engineer Mark Rosner working on her debut solo effort, "Flirting with Disaster," slated for release on January 25th, 2011. "The album is a blend of acoustic hip-hop, soul and r&b with songs you can cry to, dance to and just roll the windows down and cruise in your car too. They are honest and true to my age. These are songs that you can relate too, songs that are about everyday life, not just about the material things." Performing at various festivals, showcases and venues; she has been building a loyal following in Vancouver. She's got a lot of potential to make some noise on the worldwide stage and the heart and drive to take her there. This is only the beginning.
