Gifted Music Group released 2 pretty successfull albums in 2007 before Mike and Joel branched out to do solo projects but keep the group in tact.. Joel released his first Solo album entitled "Chronicles of a Champion" in February 2008 to mixed reviews.. Joel released his 2nd solo project in Mid 2008 to largely positive reviews as people finally started to come around to his music after hits like "Blind","Destiny",and "When the Rain Falls"...
Gifted Music Group added a third member in August 2008 in the form of Kenny "KIP" Ireland right before Joel released his 3rd solo album... GMG added KIP to add that rapping element that was lost when Shawn left the year before..KIP was featured on Joel's third solo album titled "The Legacy of a Champion" to largely popular reviews due to the track "One Step Away" and "Obsession" featuring KIP..
Gifted Music Group Group released their most recent group album in November 2008...With tracks like "Called Shots" by KIP, "Let Me Know" by Mike, and "My Girl" by Joel, it's been largely looked at as the most successfull album....Gifted Music Group has been largely quiet in 2009 but with "Gone Away" being leaked out aswell as KIP rejoining Gifted, it looks like the last half of 2009 may be an eventful one.
