Green Light Band

Greenlight was formed from humble beginnings as a pickup band for a friend¹s retirement from the military in 1999. The first Greenlight gig took place at Corvette¹s in South Patrick Shores where we met Ray Bell who soon became the frontman. The original band lineup included Mike Pinnick and Tony Calenda on guitars, Dottie Pinnick on bass, Norm Edwards on Drums and Ray Bell on vocals. Several months later Tony took a sabbatical and GreenLight picked up Danny Robertson to cover rhythm guitar...

Greenlight was formed from humble beginnings as a pickup band for a friend¹s retirement from the military in 1999. The first Greenlight gig took place at Corvette¹s in South Patrick Shores where we met Ray Bell who soon became the frontman. The original band lineup included Mike Pinnick and Tony Calenda on guitars, Dottie Pinnick on bass, Norm Edwards on Drums and Ray Bell on vocals. Several months later Tony took a sabbatical and GreenLight picked up Danny Robertson to cover rhythm guitar. After about a year, Tony returned and the 6 piece band played for several years expanding its song list. In 2004, the band picked up Ms. Becky Lehnerz to complement Ray¹s power vocals. This opened a whole new world for GreenLight and took the band to the next level. In 2007, GreenLight reached a pinnacle when they were nominated and won Brevard County¹s Favorite Cover Band for the Brevard Live Music Awards. Also nominated were Dottie, as Favorite Bass Player, Tony as Favorite Guitar player, Ray as Favorite Vocalist, and Normie as Favorite Drummer, which he won. In 2007 the soul of GreenLight changed yet again; Normie had to leave the band because of a military assignment to Nebraska. The band was fortunate enough to pick up Tron Podgorski who seamlessly transitioned the band which was again nominated as Brevard County¹s Favorite Cover Band for 2008. In 2009, the band took another turn when Mike and Dottie decided to take to the byways and start living the RV life, leaving the band to search for someone to fill the void. Currently, GreenLight is rehearsing for its upcoming shows starting in March 09... Through it all we sincerely appreciate all our loyal fans...you¹re the reason we do this. C U at our next show..
