San Francisco artist G Diddy aka G Swagga is destined to shine! And he is determined to shed a brighter light on the world! Raised in Fillmoe arough neighborhood in San Francisco, Ca,G Swagga started rapping in elementary school after hooking up with his best friend, Macho. They found that they shared this mutual love of music and entertaining early and acted on it. At the tender ages of 7 and 8, the duo formed a group called DC—for Dr. Cobb, the name of the elementary school they attended. They were so serious about rapping that they walked into a local radio station one day and ended up recording they’re first song! This was just the beginning of their musical journey. Unfortunately, life has its ups and downs and the group split up. G Swagga and his two younger siblings were sent to a foster home out of the city, so music was put old on hold indefinitely. Now in completely new and unfamiliar surroundings, G Swagga took advantage of the change by getting more involved school, playing sports, and was introduced to church and God. He joined the church choir and even lead two songs, "Jesus is Real" and "He Turned Me,” which was sublimely getting him ready for the music world and life. G Swagga vowed to always stay linked to his roots back home, and knew he would eventually hook up with his friends again. Over the years, G Swagga performed in many talent shows, probing him to keep music dream going and also indirectly getting him ready for the entertainment world! His dream came true complete with a move back to San Francisco and reconnecting with Macho, who was pursuing music full force now. However, G Swagga wasn't ready to go hard at it just yet, due to him being enrolled at City College at the time. He soon relocated to Atlanta, where he attended Clark Atlanta University and met his new partner-in-crime, Zillion. He overcame the odds—both parents were on dope, he and his siblings were put into the foster care system, his mom died of AIDS—but emerged through all of that because of his passion! It wasn't until G Swagga left Atlanta and got back home that he was ready to connect with Macho on the music tip. They soon formed Game Related Entertainment, and from there Swagg & Zill was born! Since 2003, they have been working with some of the hottest producers and artists in the Bay Area including Matt Blaque, Big Rich, The Jacka, Boo Banger, Star Studded, along with Zaytoven, J Moe, and Outbreak from Atlanta. G Swagga is definitely making the right moves and doing the right things! The music he creates is real, spiritual, soul and hot! And if you don't believe me, get to know him yourself! G Swagga aims to inspire and touch people through his work. And he has a desire to change the game spiritually and mentally.
