Guernica is a young up and coming singer songwriter. She was born and raised in Sweden. But Guernica is not the typical Swede. Her parents are originally from Uruguay, in south america. Which gave Guernica the opportunity to grow up in a very multicultural environment. She is fluent in three languages. Raised in a musical home, she decided very early that music was her biggest passion in life. At 14 she formed an all girl band, Banda Sept and played original material in her hometown. ...

Guernica is a young up and coming singer songwriter. She was born and raised in Sweden. But Guernica is not the typical Swede. Her parents are originally from Uruguay, in south america. Which gave Guernica the opportunity to grow up in a very multicultural environment. She is fluent in three languages. Raised in a musical home, she decided very early that music was her biggest passion in life. At 14 she formed an all girl band, Banda Sept and played original material in her hometown. From her father, a drummer who played in various latin bands, she experience the excitement and learned the ins and outs of show business. In 2007 Guernica made the decision to move from her hometown Lund to Los Angeles, in order to pursue her career in music as a professional singer. Guernicas musical influences span from Latin to rock, pop, R n´B and hip hop . Her individual influences are Prince,No Doubt, Guns and Roses, Erykah Badu and many more.
