Randy Placencio, better known as “Gullun El K Sale Ata En La Sopa (a.k.a.) Randy Placencio, better known as “Gullun El K Sale Ata En La Sopa (a.k.a.) The Dominican Idol,” was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, in a small town called Ensanche Quisqueya, which he is very proud of. His passion for music began at a very early age when listening to the great artist/composer Tatico Henriquez (considered by many to be the best accordionist of merengue tipico) with his “Cibaeño” parents. In the early 90’s, reggaeton or what some call “El Perreo” entered the Dominican Republic. This music called Gullun’s attention causing him to follow artists such as Vico-C, Eddie Dee, Tempo, DJ Playero, etc. In 1992, Gullun visits the United States for the first time and finds himself to yet another interesting form of music called hip hop. He considers Tupac Shakur and Notorious BIG two of his all time favorites. Since then, Gullun expresses his feelings and life experiences through his music. He is known for his realistic compositions, which describe events he has lived or those close to him have lived. His most recent tracks are Hands Up, Let Me See You Do It, Me Revele, and Llego La Hora. You can find these songs in addition to others in different websites and mixed tapes. Al principio de los 90 llega el genero llamado Regueton "EL Perreo" A la Rep. Dominicana el cual hace que Gullun de un giro hacia ese genero siguiendo artistas como Vico-C, Eddie Dee,Tempo,Dj Playero,etc.... En 1992 Gullun visita los Estados Unidos por primera vez y se encuentra con el genero llamado Hip Hop, el cual le cambia su mente otra vez haciendo seguir artistas como Tupac Shakur,Notoriuos BIG,LL Cool J,etc.... Desde ese entonce Gullun empieza a tener sus metas, de algun dia expresar sus sentimientos y vivencia atraves de la musica, pues como todo un sueño viene surgiendo en el mundo artisco, poco a poco ganandose su publico por sus composiciones verdaderas, las cuales las a vivido y a visto vivir por personas que le rodean.
