I was born August 18, 1994. Soon after laying my fingers on my first guitar at the age of 9, it became clearly evident to me that playing the guitar is all I ever wanted to do. Since then I have studied, practiced, and worked hard at developing my talent as a guitarist, singer, and performer. Along the way I've had the good fortune of making friends with some outstanding like-minded musicians. I am frequently seen performing with these accomplished musicians under the band name the Gunnar Roads Band. We have been building our reputation as serious performers ever since, entertaining audiences at popular festivals and other well attended venues throughout the Northwest, like: the Rogue Valley Blues Festival, the Florence Rhododendron and Chowder Festivals, the Eugene Celebration, the Mt. Rainier Music for the Mountain Festival, the Taste of Tacoma, the Portland Waterfront Blues Festival, the Bite of Seattle, the Clark County Fair, as well as many others. A highlight for the Gunnar Roads Band was being nominated for a 2007 Cascade Blues Association Muddy Award for "Best New Act", and a highlight for me personally was being nominated for a 2008 Portland Music Award for "Outstanding Achievement in Blues". I am now well into 2008 with a lot of great performances to look forward to. Maybe one day I will be performing for you. Sure hope so!
