Everything is influential, even the stuff that you hate; because it influences you to never ever replicate it. We are an original band that plays original music. At any given show we play, 95% of the show is original music, with a few bits and pieces of some classic artists interwoven into the show. We play our own renditions from a selection of songs ranging from Bill Withers, John Prine, Albert King, Dave, Black Crowes, Jack Johnson, et cetera. We are not like any of those artists, though we share some style and techniques with each of them. In fact, our style could be compared with many different genres of music including Jam, Jazz, Blues, Rock, Folk, Soul, Funk, et cetera. Most people have difficulty trying to describe our sound, mostly because we are a little like everything, but not really like anything. We are the original Genre Good, Organic Music, preservative free since 2002."In addition to our captivating high energy performances, we can also put on dynamic and engaging acoustic shows...fitting as comfortably into an intimate coffeehouse as we do in a loud rock venue. We can adapt and play a wide array of covers if the situation calls for it, though we are not a cover band and would rather not. We try to support original music whenever we are able to do so, and hope that you will as well.
