Harvey Champagne (born Harvey Van Chapman) was bred on the coast of North Carolina where he grew up under the influence of R&B/Soul and Classic Rock appreciating and soon adapting it into his own. Growing up as a dancer for 15 years and a published poet, Harvey was very self-concious and reluctant in his young age to pursue his vocal capabilities which was all very new to him. At the ripe age of eighteen, he was uprooted to Boston where he was introduced to Vocal trainer and Producer Margo Thunder with whom he worked with for several years building himself vocally and as a songwriter to become as raw and powerful as he is today. He is currently traveling and working towards finishing his current solo debut project as well as flexing his writing skill for other artists in the meantime to make a name for himself in the music industry. Harvey quotes," I tend to carry my heart on my sleeve, and there's a reason. I need to feel what I'm writing and be able to write what I feel, and that's all there is.
