A Genuine Brazilian Heavy Metal Band. HASTY band was formed in December 2008, by Anderson Portera on vocals, Yuri Antunes and Angelo Regis on guitars, Felipe Black on bass guitar and Henrique Candido on drums. The HASTY lyrics are deeply influenced by Enlightenment writers, to quote Voltaire. The lyrics discuss about critical issues causing most of the moral diseases of humanity. Superstitions, traditionalisms, fanaticism and intolerance are often addressed in their lyrics entirely written by Anderson Portera. The HASTY songs have melodious musical themes not hurting, however, the main features of Heavy Metal, violence and feeling. The HASTY complex harmonies often denote the undeniable influence of progressive music in his compositions, but HASTY worry about dosing this properly in their compositions. Other influences are the Thrash Metal, Speed Metal and Power Metal and even Death Metal. Bands influencing the work of HASTY compositions are: Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Metallica (their 4 first albums), Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Death, Children of Bodom and many others. The band is working their material for first album INNER POWER which hopes to launch in 2010, before, yet HASTY will release a Demo-CD containing at least 3 of his songs before 2009 ends.
