Burning Cypress

  Long time friends, Daniel Jones and Jeff Jones, formed Burning Cypress in 2009 after teaming up to lead various youth events in their area.  Jeff's brother Britt Hawkins and Daniel's brother Brent Jones, joined the band along side Ricky Rivera shortly afterwards to finish off the quintet.  Their debut EP titled "Beautiful World" has seen a certain level of success with extensive radio play of their track "Can't Get Over You" from state side stations located in Alabam...

  Long time friends, Daniel Jones and Jeff Jones, formed Burning Cypress in 2009 after teaming up to lead various youth events in their area.  Jeff's brother Britt Hawkins and Daniel's brother Brent Jones, joined the band along side Ricky Rivera shortly afterwards to finish off the quintet.  Their debut EP titled "Beautiful World" has seen a certain level of success with extensive radio play of their track "Can't Get Over You" from state side stations located in Alabama and Georgia, overseas locations in the UK and the Netherlands, plus various internet radio stations across the globe.  Burning Cypress was featured on NewReleaseTuesday.com and appeared twice on the #1 ranked morning show in their region, Fox 10’s Studio 10 with Cherish Lombard. The band has been spending time in the studio with sound engineer Matt Damico (Lincoln Brewster, Paul Baloche) and are working towards a follow up EP to showcase on the road.
