The band is fast gaining a reputation for writing & recording superb quality Original Music & for their awe Inspiring Live Performances of which they have had considerable experience since their launch in 2007. They have frequently been compared to many of the “Big Names” in the Alternative Rock Music scene. Hitomi have also gained considerable attention from venues wanting to book and re-book the band as a result of their rapidly growing reputation and ‘electric’ past performances. The band’s debut EP ‘Save Face’ recorded with top industry Producer/Engineer Tim Speight, has sold very well and has gained a lot of interest in the UK. The CD is also gaining interest & support in other countries, particularly the USA. Since its launch, the EP has been played regularly on several local UK radio stations. Hitomi have also appeared on ‘Juice FM’ in Brighton for a live interview and acoustic session. The EP also gained an excellent review from UK national magazine ‘Rock Sound’ in May 2009.
