About Holl E. Would
Steven Evans, who also go as "Holl E. Would" was born on August 28th, 1982 in Detroit Michigan. He was raised on the West Side of Detroit by his parents Joe and Delores Evans. He is the second of three boys. He started at a young age of 7 playing the violin all the way until the age of 15 when he taught himself how to play the stand up bass. He has always had a passion for music. He love music of all genres. His favorite genres are R&B, Hip Hop, Neo-Soul, Rock, Gospel, Classical, Country, Pop and Alternative. Some of his major influences are Stevie Wonder, George Strait, Jamie Foxx, Trey Songz, Whitney Houston, Gladys Knight, Tyler Perry, Ludwig van Beethoven, Maroon 5, T-Pain, Roger Troutman, Tupac Shakur, Michael Buble and many others. He began writing music at a later age and began recording multiple tracks. Would's song entitled "Pillow" was what he called his "break through" track. The song has won many contest(Sounds of Radio Number 1 Song of the Month:"Pillow", FM 98 WJLB's 2008 CD Critique:"Pillow", Songoftheyear.com's July 2009's Top Hip Hop/R&B Song: "2 Minutes", Songoftheyear.com's 2009 Top Hip Hop/R&B Song of the year: "2 Minutes") and it also caught the ear of Detroit's FM 98 WJLB who allowed him to meet with A & R representatives from major record labels including Def Jam, Atlantic Records, Grand Hustle, E1 and others who all loved his music and inspired him to keep writing. Ultimately, Would's first complete project entitled "What You've Never Had" was born and has been given many praise for that project. Hopefully, he will become a strong force in the music industry. "Giving It Back" is his current project he has that features powerful songs like "You Do It For Me" and the album title song "Giving It Back." Holl E.
