Born in Harlem and raised in the Bronx, growing up was rough for Hop the Great. He endured many obstacles from getting kicked out of school to becoming homeless at a young age. Faced with many challenges, he had to learn very quickly that if he didn’t find something recreational to do he was headed to jail. So at the age of 15 he started listening to meaningful rap artists such as Biggie, Tupac, etc. and from then on he knew he wanted to start rapping and become very successful in it. That way he could help others clean up their act and get off the streets, buy his mom the biggest crib she ever had and drive the hottest car she ever drove. As he developed over the next 3 years he ran into a friend which later on down the line turned out to be his business partner as well as best friend. From there they formed a label call M.V.A. (More Versatile Artists, LLC) and decided to form a group call the PC Boy$. Hop the Great is very much known for his catchy hooks, hot melodies and rhythms. His grind is so unique it would be hard to match him up with anybody else. Hop The Great appeals to all crowds and genres. He has a universal sound that is unbelievable. He has worked on many albums on the mixtape circuit. In other words, he has music for years. What Hop the Great plans to do is continue his hard work ethics to bring his new label to the forefront of the music industry. M.V.A., as a company, continues to progress. With his talent he has made PC Boy$ the hottest group to hit the rap game. He intends to become the new mogul so that the next generation can look up to him. He has so many plans other than music. Entertainment is just a beginning to make things happen for him. In addition to maintaining an in-house production team, he eventually wants to expand and open up music schools, a restaurant in the name of his late great uncle, and start a clothing and sneaker line. He also wants to build affordable housing for low income families. The boy is definitely someone to look out for.
