This is the essence of the industrious Hip Hop extraordinaire, Hop da Great. Born in Harlem and raised in the Bronx, Hop was forced to suffer for his dreams. He endured many obstacles that fell in his path; being expelled from school and facing homelessness, he never buckled under the pressure, endeavoring instead to seize his musical destiny avoiding the stereotypical option of a life of crime as a way out of the madness. At the tender age of 15, Hop understood that in order for him to become the greatest Hip-Hop artist of all time he would have to follow in the lyrical footsteps of the pioneers that had come before him. Listening to the poignant rap albums of iconic artists as Biggie Smalls and Tupac Shakur, he set himself upon the path that only a chosen few has gazed upon and remembered as legends.
