Hour 13 is a group of four musicians who dedicate their spare time to expressing their artistic nature through solemn lyrics and melodic, semi dark instrumental anthology. Each of them originated from slightly different backgrounds and musical experiences. Yet they all stand on common ground with one thing in mind; creating and performing harder alternative rock for anyone who will listen. Their conception: two amatuer guitarist meeting weekly to jam in a century old farm house. After writing "Once Home" and "Chosen" the two decided that their jam sessions should be taken from play time to something more serious. With the addition of Daren, drummer and highscool friend, the music dramatically shifted from poppy guitar rifts that would embarras any 80's boy band member, to a more aggressive version of alternative rock. The now rocking trio decided it was time to find a bass player who posesed their creativity and skill that would enhance their sound furthermore. The gods favored them, their bass player had arrived. With James on board the four finally became the firm structure that is now known as HOUR 13. No single member of the band has been more influental than another which makes for a perfect mesh of artistic innovation and cunning musicianship.
