              After being devastated by the lost of his father, L A continues to strive and push forward while pursuing his music career. "I'm not just doing this for me anymore, I'm doing everything for my family, my fans, and most importantly my dad," said L A. "My father never had the opportunity to see me perform nor live out my passion for music due to him always being in and out of the hospital battling cancer and sickness. It was a devastating loss. People say it's hard to grow up without a dad, but I think its worse when he's been there all your life and then suddenly he's gone. I made a promise to myself that everything that I do musically and in general from here on out, I'm dedicating it to my dad "Spencer Troy Thomas Sr."              Johaven "L A" Thomas, the youngest of 6 siblings, was born and raised in Houma, Louisiana but now resides in Lafayette, Louisiana. He is known by his stage name "Fitted Boy L A" which was taken from his middle name LilAaron. "A (Fitted Boy) is someone who does everything that he wants to do that FITS him, never mistaken for a wanna be or for taking someone else's style," said L A. "Everything that I do fits me from the way i dress, how I wear my clothes, the way i talk, clown, live my life, and pursue my music. That's why I am a Fitted Boy because anything that you will ever see me do fits ME." L A started off his music career at a very young age (9) where he first began playing the drums and began writing his music. He grew up listening to a lot of Bone Thugs N Harmony (who is his favorite rap group of all time and most influential), Michael Jackson, Kool Moe Dee, LL Cool J, 2 Pac, B.I.G. and a bunch of different R&B artist and R&B music.During the year of 05, that is when he really began to focus in more on his career in music after graduating high school. He spent countless numbers of hours dedicating himself to writing new songs and lyrics, recording music, and brainstorming while drawing up new concepts and ideas to market himself and be heard by the public. Johaven is heavily determined, passionate, driven, and motivated when it comes to his music thanks to his father and family. You can hear the pain and actually visualize the picture from the stories L A speaks about in several of his songs such as Memoriez, Dis 1's Fa You, Oldiez But Goodiez, and Emotionz. These are all songs where L A showcased a wide arrange of feelings he had for his father written throughout his verses. Being no stranger to the music grind, he continues to provide music that makes his name and sound unforgettable to his listeners.             With the genuine love and hustle of Louisiana running through his veins, L A is eager to follow the successful path that some of his musical influences has paved the way for many such as Lil Wayne, Ludacris, Eminem, Chris Brown, and T.I. "As an artist coming up in the game, I just want listeners and viewers to acknowledge my hard work, my passion, my love, and my talent when it comes to my music. If it wasn't for my Lord Jesus Christ blessing me with such a talent and gift, I honestly couldn't say what else i would be doing because music is my life and music is all that I feel I know. I'm grateful for everything that God has allowed me to experience while pursuing my career thus far as well as all the new experiences that await me in the future."
