About ILLaMaN

New York, NY

What are legends made of...? Dedication, Determination and Discipline are just 3 characteristics that describe Illaman. Raised in the notorious streets of Harlem, N.Y, Illaman’s realization of true Hip Hop culture is expressed in his music. After his 1st big hit, street album Da Cordnader Vol. 1, Illaman’s fame is rapidly rising at an unfathomable rate. Illaman represents everyone in the struggle, and feels it is his responsibility to add his innovative creativity to the music scene. As Boogie Black would put it, “It’s a matter of time before people realize he is a talented, ticking time bomb waiting to explode.” When u listen to his lyricism in songs like, The G in Me, a universal track with a West coast bounce infused with an East coast swagger, there is no denying vocally he is a beast.

Since performing with Jay – Z, Akon, Juelz Santana, Jason Fox, D.J Envy he has put the experience he has gained from collaborating with these major artists to good use. As a result, Illaman has seen his fan base continue to grow while performing in venues nationwide. Additionally, in the smash video, T.V Life, Illaman provides his audience with a visual medium of this visionary song. You can peep this video on shows like Don Diva DVD, Raw – U – Te Visions, The Block TV, You Tube and This particular song is a dedication to everyone who has lost their life due to hip-hop violence. “Don’t be fooled by the glitter and glamour cuz n***
do be getting killed wit dat hammer”.

Last but not least, Illaman would like to give respect to every artist doing their thing and feels “There will never be a greatest, but you will always have your legends.”
