Biography This beautiful songbird is a native of Chicago and likes to be known by her namesake “Paitra”. Her first love is singing and songwriting. Her vocal abilities are like no other. Her music style is Pop / Rock, very upbeat and she writes her own lyrics. Her melodic sound can be compared to a younger version of Mariah Carey and Mya’. She describes her image as Glam/Rock with a twist of flirtatious sex appeal. “Paitra’s” personality is exuberant , vibrant and free spirit anticipating the moment she can take her spot on the music scene. At an early age, “Paitra” has had to overcome life in the foster care system. Paitra is currently working toward her dreams of becoming a professional solo artist. She has performed and appeared in numerous Talent shows, and was featured in Usher’s “The Truth Tour” DVD, performing with the Usher New Look Camp Singers. She performed, co-wrote and co-produced “ Keep Your Head Up”, from the Theatrical Play “Shoulders of Giants”. Mr. Sean Garrett was her sponsor while working as an Summer Intern for Hot 107.9. She has perfected her craft from Marvin McIntyre of Marvelous Entertainment’s vocal coaching.
