Jimi Dred (lead vocal.keyboards), Prince Patrick (lead vocals/DJ), Icardo Richards (bass and vocals), Junior Richards (drums and vocals), Stevie Marco (Guitar) In 1987 using Philadelphia as a base, the band developed a Nationwide following touring from California to New York with plenty of stops in between with occasional trips back home to Miami. By the mid 90's, they had established themselves as the hottest act in Philadelphia and broke the International scene with tours to Jamaica and Europe. There recording "Always Something There To Remind Me" hit #5 on the Hawaiian charts and was soon followed by "Let your Love Flow", No Matter What Your Color, and Book of Rules" from their 1997 self titled release. Although they continued to tour, the majority of their time was spent at home where they rocked SOBE crowds 5 nights a week on Ocean Drive at Mango's Tropical Cafe. Their third album "420 Rough" was released in 2000. In 2007, the release of the fourth album titled "Anthology" including the hit song "Top of the Line". Through the rigors of touring, Innasense has not missed a beat since they started in 1987. The title describes them well, they are "Top of the Line". Since 2007, Innasense has decided to transform their music with a new sound called "Rasta Rock". Playing for crowds up and down the east coast, the new genre has been a huge success. Incorporating a rock type sound while keeping true to their roots base, this new style is sure to explode worldwide. "2010 brings the latest album titled "It's Time" which includes all original music. This album embodies lyrics inspired by controversial world events, the wonder and trials of love, spiritual revelations, as well as the pain of losing our drummer to unexpected natural causes in 2007. Stylistically, this album reflects the bands influences that range anywhere from Bob Marley, Led Zeppelin, Mad Professor and Jimi Hendrix to more modern day artists like Coldplay, Seal and Buju Banton. We will be continuing to tour keeping close touch with our home base on South Beach Miami at Mango's Tropical Cafe. This project has been years in the making and is expected to be released in June 2011. Our five song EP is a preview and features the radio mix of our first single entitled (MIC) "Military Industrial Complex". This song is a hard cry for more love and understanding. The sound can only be described as "Rasta Rock". This song was inspired by Dwight D. Eisenhower's farewell address to the American public. He felt compelled to warn us about the "grave implications" of the then newly created military industrial complex and the importance of the proper meshing of our national security with our peaceful methods and goals. The EP is now available for download at WWW.INNASENSE.COM and all major venues such as iTunes, Amazon and Lime Wire to name a few. With the completion of the project at hand, our sites are now set on securing a world tour. We're looking forward to seeing everyone at our upcoming shows.
