Insidious have gained respect and momentum as a band through their dynamic live shows including performances alongside Frankenbok, Bellusira, Embers of Sanity, Catwitch, Sleeplever and Anythium, playing in venues such as Revolver, The barleycorn, Ruby’s Lounge, DV8, The tote, Distorted Symphonies 4 and 5 and Vedette nightclub. Influenced by a wide variety of bands such as Slipknot, Tool, Deftones, Metallica, Lacuna Coil, Evanescence and Mudvayne, Insidious appeal to a broad audience and leave crowds infected with coarse guitar riffs, haunting bass lines, frantic drum beats and unmistakable energy. Formed in 2005 by guitarist Calum and Vocalist Melanie, Insidious were joined by Bulldog on drums in late 2005 and completed their line up with the addition of Todd on bass in early 2006. As Insidious began to grow they faced the departure of Bulldog shortly after releasing their debut album in June 2007. With no drummer to take his place Insidious took a break from gigs and focused on recording. In early 2008 rejuvenated with the addition of Heffa on drums and guitar, and Nick on second guitar, Insidious are back in full swing. With a growing list of shows and a new residency at Vedette nightclub, Insidious continue to impress audiences with their high energy performances and show no sign of slowing down.
