IOAK Instead of a Kill is an extreme metal band combined with evolving electronic sounds. The group consists of vocalist Jay Dee, guitarists Mark Gale, Travis Shepherd and Def Laurence, drummer Michael Blacksmith, bassist Nick Layle and electronic sounds by Donnie Abbot Jr. Formed in 2009, same year the band put out demo "The Creator of Lies (G.O.D.)" that just went crazy throughout the mass worldwide. IOAK Instead of a Kill is an extreme metal band combined with evolving electronic sounds. The group consists of vocalist Jay Dee, guitarists Mark Gale, Travis Shepherd and Def Laurence, drummer Michael Blacksmith, bassist Nick Layle and electronic sounds by Donnie Abbot Jr. Formed in 2009, same year the band put out demo "The Creator of Lies (G.O.D.)" that just went crazy throughout the mass worldwide. At the end of 2010, IOAK gets record deal with their producer M.M. to record full-length album during 2011 and finally released "Flying Spaghetti Monster" single for an upcoming album "Divination" that will hopefully be out at the beginning of 2012. The band were a side-project of many of the members of other groups. All the members have a lot of experience playing professional live performance and studio recording also.
