Ashley Cota, better known as ISHtonishN was born March 24, 1989 in Winslow, AZ. She grew up not too far from there in the small town of Holbrook. With both her parents absent Ashley was raised by her Grandmother. She focused on school for a while, and when she started to surpass her classmates the work became a waste of time. Ashley Cota, better known as ISHtonishN was born March 24, 1989 in Winslow, AZ. She grew up not too far from there in the small town of Holbrook. With both her parents absent Ashley was raised by her Grandmother. She focused on school for a while, and when she started to surpass her classmates the work became a waste of time. In 2005 she decided she'd rather go to work and make money than sit in a classroom learning nothing. Around this time was when she got into playing the guitar and then making beats on her computer. She would get lost in the beat for hours trying to make it perfect. Doing it all for fun and not thinking it would go anywhere, Ashley made beats for her friends who could rap or sing. Finally hearing words to the music she created was incredible, it was like a high. In 2009 she partnered up with her friend "Terrazona" and submitted a couple of songs to a local radio station. The same night they sent them in they were played on the air and weeks later still being requested. It was then that she knew this could be her life. Since then she's worked with artists such as Matt James, K-Mak, Hesper Chavez, and most recently she's joined the Dirty Dutchmob family.
