About Jae Williams
West Medford, MA
Jae Williams, Director/Producer from Boston, Mass is earning accolades as a young visionary in the media industry. He is an Emerson College graduate where he attained a BA in Film.
At 25, Jae Williams has recently completed work on a music video for artist Makio from P. Diddys Making the Band. For the project, Jae teamed up with SureFire Music Group; whose projects include collaborations with Brook Hogan, Under Armour®, and the long awaited posthumous album of Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez titled Eye Legacy.
After working alongside iconic director Jesse Terrero on a music video for Babyface, Jae felt inspired by the drive and talent of Terrero, and spent the next few months traveling, contemplating his future in the industry, and finding inspiration and determination in his ability as a producer.
Family and travel are great inspirations for Jae, who frequents his favorite cities, L.A., Chicago and Atlanta. He has had great opportunity to relocate his business, but will continue to work in Boston. "My production company is called Forty8 Three Films which is a tribute to my neighborhood in West Medford, just outside of Boston. This is where I realized the importance of community and with the support of my community, has given me the courage to pursue a career in the film industry, and I want to help inspire young entrepreneurs in my community to develop their potential as well" Jae says.
He plans to hit the commercial scene in a fashion-based direction. As he attended college, he worked as a model for local designers and magazines, and has great respect for the link between fashion, music, and culture. His plans in the fashion industry will be collaborations with Boston-based designers, producing commercials and using their clothing in music videos, a venture which will help artists with their brand development and contracts as well.
Jae has produced and directed music videos for local Hip Hop and R&B talent including J.D.O, Rap Group Agari Crew, Danita, Supastar LT, JTronius, Danny Sky High, Lee Wilson and Hip Hop duo NBS (Natural Born Spitters).
