I use to say I didn't have an addictive personality. Turns out I was young, blinded by false hope of what life was supposed to be, and misguided by the people who cared. I understand why though, they were just trying to protect me.
But turns out, addiction, is my downfall. Well, the most self-destructive of them all.
I'm not self-destructive, though I do realize the tendency is there. And, I'm pretty sure that's the only thing that saves me. Knowing. Can't say I understand it.
