While their vibe triggers some to reminisce of the melodic groups of the 70’s, there is a certain freshness to their southern flavored modern rock edge. Chemistry was the deciding factor in SSD’s line up. Singer / songwriter Brandon Swift was the gift bassist Tracy Towne and drummer Brandon Ferebee had been searching for since releasing themselves from indie label Super Rock Records in 2008. While writing and recording a demo of new material, former Asher & Quick guitarist Scott Carroll was called upon for the lead guitar position. Upon playing the first song together the guys all felt the styles they had grown up with must be part of the reason they gelled instantly. SSD is currently writing for their full length album due out February 2013 and playing regionally to energize their dedicated fan base and keep the momentum of the musical monster blasting forward!
