It all started at Warner Southern College in early 2007, where Jeff Valentine and Jeff Brewer met and started playing together. After a few line-up changes and about a year of just being Jeff and Jeff, Stuart Upton came on board to play drums. They quickly added Geoffrey West on violin to get a unique sound, and Josh Shutts took over drums to free up Stuart to sing and play rhythm guitar.
