Jeremy first got into music in the “hair days” (80s). He played in various local bands and eventually settled in a group called Chambers in high school. Chambers stayed together for a year or so and produced one cassette. Later he joined Drippy Spliff, a Toledo based band (think Bob Marley meets Korn!). That group also had a good one year run until personal crisis caused him to leave the band and attend to matters at home. During this time, he also laid his life and music down before Jesus and asked for guidance. In the years since, his musical tastes have expanded exponentially. He released his first solo album Cross Reference in 2006. It is a collection of instrumental acoustic guitar inspired by life’s struggles and the triumph of faith. It has been described by fans as “contemplative”, “healing”, and “relaxing”. His sophomore release Sonburned is a blend of Vocal and instrumental music and includes some long time friends and fellow musicians. Sonburned explores the electric and vocal sides of musical expression as well as some signature acoustic instrumentals. Jeremy’s tastes and forms of musical expression vary from jazz to blues to finger style to rock to fusion to praise. Always working in the studio and public venues, only time will tell what we will see next from this dynamic and collective songwriter. Jeremy performs in many venues, concerts, festivals, colleges, restaurants, coffee houses etc..
He can usually be found weekends playing as the house musician at the Clinton Inn in Clinton, Michigan. He also teaches guitar and creative improv at his home studio and offers recording and mixing services.
