John E Black was born 8th of April 1982 in Transylvania (Romania). His birth name is Marius Zinveliu. At the age of 14 he started a local group called “Carpe Diem” in which he performed until 2002 when the group split up and he was chosen to feature as an artist on an album called “De Senzatie”, released by the group Ca$$a Loco under the label CAT Music (Sony Music). John E Black was born 8th of April 1982 in Transylvania (Romania). His birth name is Marius Zinveliu. At the age of 14 he started a local group called “Carpe Diem” in which he performed until 2002 when the group split up and he was chosen to feature as an artist on an album called “De Senzatie”, released by the group Ca$$a Loco under the label CAT Music (Sony Music). He started touring within the group Ca$$a Loco for a few years, and in the meanwhile he started recording for his debut album called “Rullez”, under the stage name “Mikey”. Mikey released his 1st single in September 2007. His video called “Esti Senzatie” brought something new to the Romanian public and recorded significant viewes on all public and private music channels. Currently, he’s back on the stage under the name “JOHN E BLACK”, and, with the support of music producer and performer Bogdan Muresan (founder of the group Ca$$a Loco ), he released his 1st single called “Show me (watcha got)”. The song has a fresh new vibe, catchy lyrics and it fit’s like a glove to John ‘s unique voice.
