Witnessing His father drunkardness that caused his father to abuse his mother and him on a daily basis.[3] After being expelled from elementary school(p.s.13) from outrageous violence and seeing a pyschologist for mental help. His mother decided to take her three kids including Johnny Cage to Georgia to live with her brother. Embarking on a new life Johnny Cage decided to find some peace by playing youth football which he fell in love with. He recalls, "My school counselor told me, 'Your mother's worried about you, please do her a favor and stay out of trouble."That's when I started adjusting to the new life style and controlling my temper a little bit".Daniel grew up with his older cousin, Marcolm Bull aka Mar B, His older brother William Hutchinson and younger sister Janette Hutchinson. Johnny Cage began football around the age of ten. After experiencing a shootout towards his cousin and a near death car accident. At the age of 17 Johnny Cage started to enlighten himself and pursue chrisitianity to find his place in life."I felt there was more to life then what I was doing and I was afraid of dying and being somewhere I did not want to be", he recalled .On May 15, 2006, he decided to Join the Army National Guard(where he got his name smyles, but no longer uses that name) to start a new life after graduation from McEachern Highschool in 2005. November 29, 2006, He began to let his love and talent for dancing and music shine. Peforming at local churches in his area he became confident about being an artist, but yet he still felt he had not found his place. "Everything I saw in this religious path seem to be phony and the people I dealt with. I realized it was ok for me to express myself, so I decided to change my lifestyle and live the way I wanted to live, then I started working on my own project that was not chrisitian music." He recalls. Began working with his project his three years friend Kwame(who is now in the airforce), but there was no sucess in that project, so he moved on to learn and study music, engineer his own sound, and compose his lyrics to make songs that would stand out. He then began recording and performing at open mics and local parties with his friend blue. He decided to make a project that was marketable to the world as well as his name because he was business man rather than a professional recording artist. His apiration is to invade the music industry which his vision and be in the game for longevity. He dreams to be a Worldwide Superstar. After finding his niche in his craft He decided to make Hiphop/Pop/Rock/ and his flavor of R&B songs so that his fans would not be limited. Now working with Grand Hustle Association(promotional non-profit organization for independent artist)and with plans for releasing his independent album "she got me like" he motivates himself to stay strong and have an ear for the street and mainstream, so that he will continue to make great music.
