Portrait of JoieBratz

About JoieBratz

Maple Ridge, Canada

Joie Bratz has been making music since she was a young girl and is a seasoned veteran of the entertainment business. Although music wasn’t in the forefront of her home, it certainly thrives amongst some very talented musicians and Opera singers in her family background. Joie’s musical interest is diverse thus it has immersed her into so many different genres and she cites music legends Martina McBride, Shania Twain and Bryan Adams as influences and favorites.

Bratz calls Vancouver, BC home and has accumulated an impressive list of credits. The Merrit Mountain Music Festival, BC Winter Games and Buffalo Days are among the many events she’s performed at all across North America.

The new EP titled “Happy” was produced by Joie and good friend TBA and the result is a collection of powerfully engaging country songs that are emotionally moving, thought-provoking and inspiring.

From the Sheryl Crow influenced “Happy,” to the sexy single “You and I,” to the heartbreaking honesty of “When I Was Beautiful,” there’s something truly compelling about Joie Bratz music… It’s powerful… Unique… Honest.

The first thing audiences notice about Joie Bratz is her poised confidence coupled with her commanding vocals that hold the wisdom to convey the emotional story that lives in every song.

In addition to her flourishing music career, JB has been acting for over 10 years. Riding the wave of the booming west-coast film industry, her resume reflects not only the scope of her talent, but a genuine commitment to entertainment culture. The Fantastic Four, Smallville and Men In Trees are just a few of the Movie and TV Show projects she has been involved with.

To family, friends and fans who have watched Joie develop her career, it is only a matter of time until she gets recognition from the Majors to help skyrocket her to super stardom.

With “Happy” due for release the summer of 2011, and tour dates across the country to follow, it’s all systems go for this bright new star.

Keep an eye on Joie Bratz. She’s the new face of country – emerging and engaging.
