Joker to the Thief

Coming together in the fall of 2008, “Joker to the Thief” is one of Boston's hottest new bands: a rock-based band that is heavily drenched in blues with a twist of funk. Specializing in catchy, hook-heavy music that pays homage to both past and present, Joker to the Thief puts on a show that is not to be missed. Coming from an array of musical backgrounds, the members fuse their musical styles to create a new and unique sound. Their impressive run so far has included being crowned the winners of the entire New England region of the Emergenza international battle of the bands in 2009 out of over 70 bands competing. In less than two years together the band has rocked the stage at several world-class venues including The Paradise and The House of Blues in Boston, as well as Webster Hall in New York City. They recently released their demo in April 2010.
