Jon grew up in small town Mineral Springs, Arkansas. He completed 3 years of college as a Drama major then left to move to Los Angeles, Ca. to pursue a career as an actor. After several years of struggling in Los Angeles and the passing of his mother he moved to Austin, Tx. for a few years. Soon he returned to Los Angeles to continue as an actor. Jon grew up in small town Mineral Springs, Arkansas. He completed 3 years of college as a Drama major then left to move to Los Angeles, Ca. to pursue a career as an actor. After several years of struggling in Los Angeles and the passing of his mother he moved to Austin, Tx. for a few years. Soon he returned to Los Angeles to continue as an actor. Over the years Jon wrote songs and performed at various open mics around LA. He considers his songs eclectic rock or country. It wasn't until he had the chance to record some of the songs with his brother, Jason Chism, that he found a grounding element. Jason acted as producer and played all instruments except for guitar. It became what they consider a life long collaboration.
