Through his eclectic beats to his hard hitting rap game, J Strong, rapper and producer, is breaking the stand still state hip hop is in. J Strong produces tracks that each have their own individual feel and sound, which most producers are failing to do. He has had the opportunity to work with such artists as Elliot Ness (Bad Boy Records), Young Gunz (Roc-A-Fella Records), Freeway (Roc-A-Fella Records), Oschino (Roc-A-Fella Records), Pooda Brown (GIFI Records) and Megan Rochell (former Def Jam artist).On the other side of the coin is J Strong’s rap game. His sound and style has been compared to JayZ’s flossy type flow. In his young days, he had experience in being with the group DCA, who was featured on No Question’s hit single, “I Don’t Care (Remix).” He has performed at venues such as Powerhouse, The Electric Factory, Pegasus night club and Philadelphia’s annual Sistas event at the Philadelphia Convention Center.
