Jeffrey “J.Will” Williamson is no stranger to the mic. At the tender age of four, he accepted God into his life and has been persistent to the gift that God has given him ever since. Jeffrey “J.Will” Williamson is no stranger to the mic. At the tender age of four, he accepted God into his life and has been persistent to the gift that God has given him ever since. At his church home, Jones Cross Road Missionary Baptist Church, he honed his musical gift as well as his gifts in Public Speaking and Art. He emceed his first event at the age of six. He sang in the youth choir for 16 years and has also been an active member of the Combined Choir. Jeffrey graduated from The Elon School in Elon, North Carolina in 2009. While there, he was a mainstay in the Choral Ensemble and served as a Tenor and Bass. They performed at Country Clubs and many other locations. They always brought forth huge audiences. Jeffrey led many solos and was often requested to sing by audience members and his peers. In 2008, Jeffrey participated in Triad Idol, a North Carolina singing competition funded by The Community Theater of Greensboro. More than 800 vocalists auditioned from various age groups and he placed within the top 5. From that experience, he received the opportunity to perform on the local radio station 97.1QMG with Busta Brown in his Talent Tuesday segment. He later received the opportunity to speak with recording artist Musiq SoulChild and Jazmine Sullivan. He also had the opportunity to sing the National Anthem multiple times at the Minor League baseball stadium for the Burlington Royals. Jeffrey entered college in the fall of 2009 at Elon University, where he decided to major in Music Technology and minor in Fine Arts. He is a dedicated member of the Elon University Gospel Choir and the Elon University Praise Team. The Gospel Choir won Organization of the Year at Elon University. Along with the Praise Team, Jeffrey received the opportunity to open up a concert for Gospel Great and Stellar Award winner John. P. Key and The New Life Community Choir. Jeffrey has been working hard and has a significant purpose to fulfill. His passion for his gift and his diligence is what keeps him going. He hopes to become a recording artist and producer. Without a doubt, Jeffrey has come a long way and plans to stay persistent with his anointed gift from God. There is no doubt that this young man and is warm and strong textured voice will be heard on radios near you in the near future.
