Kasland began writing poetry at a young age, he used his poetry to express his feelings and emotions throughout his childhood. While living in Dallas, Kasland was introduced to rap music in which he became very intrigued with. At the age of fifteen he decided to begin making music of his own. Kasland had spent three years studying the art of music, working behind the scenes, and improving as an artist. In 2009 Kasland decided to release mixtapes to begin building his fan base. Kasland had worked with many artists in the music industry and had discovered many opportunities to assist him with his career along the way.
