Kayla Kavanagh

Kayla Kavanagh is a solo artist with a twist. The Irish multi-instrumentalist performs across a variety of genres, as a guitar-based Singer/Songwriter, classical pianist, Pop/Rock singer, Electronica artist and Composer. The music graduate qualified with an MA in Digital Performance, where she began experimenting with live looping using an array of traditional instruments, wires and technology, journeying from acoustic to electronica.

Between May - September 2008, Kayla performed a national tour at Festivals and Events across the UK, including 23 performances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Renowned for her self-contained gigs from her VW Kampervan, Kayla's shows can feature numerous instruments including keyboard, guitar, electric violin, flute, hammered dulcimer, looping pedals and vocoder. She also regularly performs on guitar/piano as a Singer/Songwriter at acoustic events.
