Once upon a yesteryear, on the east side of Atlanta, a group of unlikely characters crossed paths. Instead of quarreling, they embraced their differences and soon realized they all had one thing in common... Mad Skillz! Each individual was unique and brought something different to the table. What they brought were instruments and more importantly, their passion to create. What they created was new and fun. They created Klub Rock, and they go by the name KDENCE. They chose this name KDEN...

Once upon a yesteryear, on the east side of Atlanta, a group of unlikely characters crossed paths. Instead of quarreling, they embraced their differences and soon realized they all had one thing in common... Mad Skillz! Each individual was unique and brought something different to the table. What they brought were instruments and more importantly, their passion to create. What they created was new and fun. They created Klub Rock, and they go by the name KDENCE. They chose this name KDENCE, which ultimately stands for the flow of poetry through music, due to the direct reference describing their shared passion for music. Klub Rock, on the other hand, was just a bi-product of their collaboration. Klub Rock represents a melting pot of genres that all posses similar traits. Klub Rock mainly consists of Hip Hop, Rock, and Pop. But blended with Dance, Crunk, and Electronic, well... you get more than you bargained for! Legend has it that KDENCE is, and has always been, an independent act. Ever since the release of their debut album, Residue of Desire, KDENCE has been a self governed entity gaining momentum beneath the streets in the city they love. That album was released back in 2008, but since then the band has released a sophomore album titled, I’m Your Huckleberry, as well as a mixtape titled, IntoxiKdence. As of now, rumor has it that they are close to finishing a third album, set to be released late in 2011. In the meantime KDENCE has been performing all over Atlanta, providing fans with a live sound that’s anything but similar to their studio recorded albums. And along the way the band has been offered several recording contracts, established relationships with major players in the game, and just recently performed live with an Atlanta legend and pioneer, KILO ALI. KDENCE’s future is not yet written, but destined to be filled with nothing but bigger and better! But for now, only time will tell where this batch of misfits will end up next. Stay tuned...
