K_DuBB has a swag and style all his own. Introduced to the world as Jhon Keny-Jean, his name, style and swagger were all cleverly crafted from his birth name; K for Keny and DuBB for the double J (Jhon and Jean). Born in Les Cayes, Haiti, K_Dubb was raised from the age of 15 in Miami, FL. under the watchful eye of his father and Step mother. Jhon attended both middle and high school in Florida where he maintained a good GPA. After graduating, Jhon and his older brother opened and managed the ultra successful VIP Nightclub in Haiti from 1999 to 2001. During that same time period, he went on to college in Michigan where he studied computers before switching to audio engineering. While studying audio engineering, at Lansing Community College, K_Dubb ended up in the studio with local aspiring rap artists and never looked back. He fell in love with working the boards which led to writing his own music and eventually co-founding the band Island Boyz, in 2004. From the inception, Jhon worked with producer Big Phil and recorded under his private Sak Pase Entertainment label with his Island Boyz until they disbanded in 2007. Today, K_Dubb and his company Sak Pase Ent. operate out of Miami, Fl., where he continues to write new material daily while working with such notable talents like K-Lion from KDS Studio in Orlando. Other hit makers include, D'Luz The Maestro, Trace who did the mastering of ‘Batti Gal’ and Blake as a Grammy engineer from Binksounds who did the mixed of “Shootin” and from Miami’s Hit Factory, Julian who mixed ‘I don’t like that Nigga’ while the mastering was completed by Grammy award winning Master Engineer, Michael Fuller, who is noted for working with the likes of ‘Rick Ross’, ‘Pit Bull’ and ‘TI’ . If you had to ask these master mixers what they thought of K_Dubb’s style, they’d say, “He has his own swag, there’re not too many artist out there that can rap in English, Creole and Spanish”... K_Dubb is an alluring and entertaining spirit with an intense personality and an insatiable appetite for success. He is the entire package of talent, spirit and entertainment mogul. This self-proclaimed super star talent is very serious about his music and company. You can’t be about nothing and expect to hang around this rapper, he maybe from the streets but he’s got that college mentality which he proudly hangs his hat on.
