About Kelsey Combs
Kelsey Combs at ten years old recorded a cover CD of ten songs done by artists including Alicia Keys, Christina Aguileria, and Mariah Carey. She then started a second album at twelve years old after writing eleven songs with Shannon Combs, called "Sweet Reality." She broke a record of the youngest artist to complete an album before the age of thirteen, by just three days. After completing her second album, Kelsey prepared for a full summer to perform at the legendary Ramona Bowl for the traditional "Summer Concerts." She opened for a band called "Open Road" with two backup dancers, a set list of three of her own songs, and almost eight-hundred seats filled. She then broke a record for youngest to ever perform at the Ramona Bowl and opened doors for under-aged performers to also show their talent to the world. Kelsey has always had a love for writing, whether it was writing stories, poems, or lyrics. She was always complimented on her writing, and even once heard that she could become an author one day with her talent. She then used that information to express herself through her lyrics and piano. Learning much about the music business, she decided to take a different route and create her own background music by coordinating her piano skills with her writing skills. Once she hit freshman year at West Valley High School she made it into the all girl's Treble Choir. She then transferred to a charter school, dedicating most of her time to school work and studying. It all paid off after Mother, Shannon Combs, got a envelope in the mail, in which invited Kelsey to join NHCS- National Honors Chapter Society. Still pursuing her musical dream (now 15 years old, 16 in November) she decided to put a few of her singles on an EP of 2010/2011 recording at Alaythia music studio in Hemet, CA. This will be her third album in more of a punk, alternative rock style. Kelsey is always open for new bookings.
