Born to Sherry Wilson and Kevin Walker, his mother Sherry nurtured his musical abilities at a young age by getting Kevin involved in the drums and the alto saxophone. From then on, he excelled in the field of music lessening his involvement with the drums and becoming a 1st chair alto sax player in middle school. Attending the Academy of Fine and Performing Arts, East for middle school, Kevin's interest for music grew into other avenues including writing and composing. This interest blossomed until he began high school. Attending Lewis Cass Technical High School, Kevin's passion for music began to fade as his interest branched into various avenues such as working. Unaware to Kevin, He still had the musical flame burning within but it would remain dormant for several years. The Summer of 2008 was the year where Kevin's flame grew larger than it had ever been. Working at Camp Burt Shurly, Kevin wanted a way to help a few of his campers express their abilities in a weekly talent show. He decided to help them make a song using his MacBook laptop and perform this song in the show. This process of creating helped him discover a passion that was within him since birth, music. The campers said the fun, creative, & rigorous activity made them feel as though they were "Making the Band" and that Kevin was the President in parallel to Diddy. They referred to him as Mr. Kevin so he took the Mr. and the President and now called himself Mr. President. It is somewhat debated that the name was due to the presidential history in the making of Barack Obama but then again it is still debated. From this point Mr. President knew the sky was the limit. At this moment, he knew the process would not stop. He went on to perfect his craft of producing, writing, and rapping. Later linking up with William "ill WiLL" Barney, Mr. President met Tone "Tone D" Davis, Young Zo, and Monsta Baby (Producer).
