KevLarR Born and Raised in Mansfield, Ohio, KevLarR a.k.a YoungKev grew up in a typical hood upbringing with positive and negative influences. When KevlarR was in elementary school, he recalls the first time he heard Platinum Group and Grammy Award artists Bone thugs-N-harmony for the first time. "When I first heard Bone I knew that was something that I wanted to do with my life". Also during his younger years, KevLarR was influenced by other music moguls like New Edition, Eazy-E, Dr. Dre. Snoop Dogg, 2 Pac, Too Short, Notorious Big, Nas, Run DMC, and Ice Cube just to name a few. It wasn't until he was 10 when KevLarR started working on his rhyming skills. It was then he joined his longtime friend and they formed a group together. They would record numerous of tracks on a daily basis. After months of hard work, the group would soon come to an end, KevLar decided to remain a solo artist. After Graduating from High School in 2004, KevlarR entered the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in fall of 2004 where he majored in Graphic Design. Winter 2005 he decided to leave school to pursue his dreams of becoming a Professional Recording Artist. Today KevLarR remains a hardworking rap artist who strives to make a name for himself in the music industry. He is deligently working in the studio preparing songs for the world to hear.
