Key is a band from Northwestern Connecticut. Sometimes we think we have a genre for a moment -like, say, Indie Rock- and then our frontman/guitarist Casey goes and writes an acoustic song with no accompanyment and screws everything up. Key is a band from Northwestern Connecticut. Sometimes we think we have a genre for a moment -like, say, Indie Rock- and then our frontman/guitarist Casey goes and writes an acoustic song with no accompanyment and screws everything up. Fortunately, he sucks at working with computers, and I get to say whatever I want about him here! I'm Troy (the bassist) BTW, and I'm the one responsible for our horrible production. It's not completely my fault. We have to line-in almost everything, our recording engineering strategy consists of asking, "So what do you think would happen if we jiggled that button?", and our vocals get recorded in a very hot and very small closet (We've sealed it off to keep noise out, and I'm fairly certain not quite enough oxygen gets in to maintain homeostasis. But, of course, that's Casey's problem, and so who cares?) We've a drummer, Klaus (The fish from American Dad!!! I know!!! I sometimes refuse to listen to him unless he speaks with a German accent.), and he can, luckily, write midi drums as we've no way to record an actual set yet. Klaus also writes most of our electronic bits. We're all in our early twenties, in college, and umm... That's pretty much it I guess. We just basically write music for fun, and we're not really up to playing shows at this point. Shows are for people with legitimate equipment, where as our primary electric guitar cost $250 and has to be retuned depending on what part of the neck is being played on. Still, we're vain, and we'd like people to hear what we're making outside of our friends on Facebook and see how they respond, and so here we are.
