Aaron Khalil White (Born August 7, 1992), better known by his stage name Kid Khalil, producer name Young Kaytoven or formerly known as LiL AK, is a rapper, singer, songwriter, & producer from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. In summer 2006, he released his debut album Neighborhood Supastar, which was recorded on the demo version of FL Studio 6 and Cool Edit Pro. Khalil was heavily criticized in his early years due to his rap style, in which most people claimed that it resembled another Soulja Boy. Kid Khalil was born & raised in Tuscaloosa but often traveled to Atlanta, where he discovered Presidential Status Clique artists Yung Henry & Q da King. In February 2007, Khalil posted his songs on Myspace. In order to take his music to the next level, he established a webpage on YouTube & SpitYoGame.com. In late 2007, Khalil established his own label by the name of Neighborhood Supastar Entertainment. Then he developed, Presidential Status Clique, his first group of serious musicians. Tuscaloosa native Young Jay was the first artist inducted in Presidential Status Clique. Then came Yung Henry, Q da King, Gutta Gabe, Lil AJ, Die Fly Doss, Cartoon, & the first two ladies, Ms. Rae23 and R&B singer Baby Gurl. In May 2008, Khalil released his sophomore album, iFamous Pt. 1, which featured his hit singles I’m Zone’N, Git It Git It, & Ice Attack (featuring Joe Pat). The follow-up, iFamous Pt. 2, was released in November 2008, and featured hit singles How You Gon Say (featuring Baby Gurl & Joe Pat), She A Pro (featuring Q da King & Shawty Skrilla), & Soopa Doopa Coopa Flyy. His last album, This Is My Story, was scheduled to release early 2009 until he began turning towards the mixtape circuit. He is currently working on three mixtapes (Feeding Time, Kanye Wayne, & I Be Boomin, Buckin, Jiggin, Geekin Vol. 1). All hosted by DJ Blue Flame. Lately, his music has began to surface all over the internet. His ringtones have begun to top the Bluetooth circuit. He has started to expand his fan base beyond the southeastern region of the U.S. & now you’ll find Kid Khalil fans all across the country. Without the internet, he probably would’ve been struggling a lot harder than he already is. You can find him just about anywhere on the net. Myspace is his number one way of connecting with the world. He has yet to find success but you know what they say, success is journey, not a destination. Success is the good fortune that comes from aspiration, desperation, perspiration and inspiration.
